Music is for All Ages!

The Wilmette Community Band presents its Spring Concert, sharing the stage with 18 selected students from the Wilmette Junior HS Band.

“Music is for All Ages!” The Wilmette Community Band (www.wilmetteband.org) will present its Annual Spring Concert on Thursday evening, April 30th, at 7:30pm in the Wilmette Junior HS Auditorium. The School is located at 620 Locust Rd. in Wilmette, IL. The event is free and open to the public.

The Band presents it’s “Music is for All Ages” program that brings selected band students from the Wilmette Junior HS band program together with the Wilmette Community Band. Eighteen members of the WJHS Band Program will join the band in performing two selections: “The Young Person’s Guide to John Williams,” and “The Emblem of Unity” March.

In addition, the band will present a special narrated performance of Peter and the Wolf for those who enjoy the musical tale of Peter and his exciting experience in the woods. Other musical selections will include: Flashing Winds, Canzona, and A Copland Tribute.
