National Merit Recognizes 43 ETHS Students
Twelve students at Evanston Township High School were named semifinalists in the National Merit Scholarship competition; 31 other students were also recognized.

The National Merit Scholarship Company recognized 12 Evanston Township High School students as semifinalists in its scholarship competition this year.
These students scored in the top one percent among the roughly 1.5 million juniors who took the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT), and will have the opportunity to become National Merit Finalists this spring.
Thirty-one other students were recognized as Commended Students and Outstanding Participants in the National Achievement and National Merit Scholarship competitions.
