New Evanston Businesses to Host Ribbon Cuttings

Jan's Antiques and Patisserie Coralie are newest additions to business community

A pair of new Evanston businesses will host official ribbon cuttings in the coming days.

Evanston Edge, the city’s economic development team, announced on Tuesday that Jan’s Antiques will hold theirs on Thursday, December 18 at 3:30 p.m. and Patisserie Coralie will have a similar event on Monday, December 22.

Jan’s Antiques, a Chicago institution for 54 years, recently arrived in Evanston. More than 300,000 vintage items from the 1800s through 1950s fill Jan’s new space at 2002 Dempster St.

Patisserie Coralie, 600 Davis St., is a Boutique French Pastry shop which specializes in traditional French pastries and macarons. Their ribbon cutting is set for 5 p.m.
