The city of Evanston is is being sued by Nicor Gas Company.
Evanston Round Table reported Monday the suit, which seeks “a declaration from the federal district court in Chicago that gas under and around James Park has a source other than Nicor distribution lines.”
The Round Table discusses the issue in detail, including what was included in a Notice of Intent to Sue, which was served by the city and preceded the lawsuit.
