Calling all women who like to sing: On Thursday, November 5, the North Shore Harmonizers, a women’s chorus dedicated to singing four-part, a cappella harmony in the barbershop style, will host an open house for all interested female singers beginning at 7pm at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1235 Wilmette Ave., in Wilmette. Any level of musical experience is welcome.
Since 1952, this acclaimed chorus has performed at its own public concerts, at retirement homes, and for other Chicago-area groups, at community events during the holiday season, and at farmers’ markets in the summer.
