Northbrook Man Escaped Treatment; Tried to Rob Subway
Adam Feldman was originally jailed for stealing credits cards and car from a woman in Deerfield.

The year is only two-and-a-half months old, but one Northbrook man is facing a hefty amount of charges during that time.
Adam Feldman, 26, is now accused of walking away from a court-ordered drug treatment facility in Waukegan the day he got there only to threaten an employee and attempt to rob the Subway back in his hometown a little over a week later.
The Lake County Sheriff’s Department, according to the Deerfield Review, didn’t know about the escape for two days.

On January 10, Feldman is accused of entering a Deerfield woman’s home and stealing her purse and credit cards, leave to make purchases in surrounding north suburbs and come back later in the day to steal her car. Serving time in the Lake County Jail unable to post $100,000 bond, a judge ordered Feldman to be placed in the Addiction Treatment Center in Waukegan on February 6.
He escaped the same day and was not seen again until February 15, when the alleged Subway incident occurred.
