Northwestern Police Lieutenant Charged With Child Porn
The Mount Prospect man who owns a home photography business is accused of taking lewd pictures of a teenage girl.

EVANSTON, IL - A Northwestern University police officer who owns a home photography business has been accused of taking lewd photographs of a teenage girl.
Ronald Godby, 53, of Mount Prospect faces charges of child pornography in Cook County after a search of his home computer on Monday, according to the Chicago Tribune. Godby is accused of taking photos revealing the girl’s genitalia in 2013 and then again last year as she turned 17.

According to the complaint against him, Godby told detectives “I’m (expletive)” when told a search warrant would be executed on his computers.

The Northwestern police lieutenant was placed on administrative leave and is banned from campus.
His bail has been set at $100,000.
