NORTHWESTERN PROGRAM STRENGTHENS MEMORY AND BRAIN HEALTH

Strengthen brain and memory health at Northwestern University

Registration is open for Northwestern University’s popular Cognitive Fitness program that helps adults enhance cognitive abilities using research-based activities and practical strategies. The winter session is held on Wednesday afternoons from 3:30-4:30, January 28 through March 4.

Designed for adults seeking to maintain and fortify their current abilities as well as those seeking to rebuild skills and develop compensatory strategies, the six-week program is limited to ten participants to ensure personalized attention in a comfortable group setting. Sessions are run by clinical faculty members who are speech-language pathologists experienced with the complex connections between the adult brain and memory, language ability, and other cognitive functions.

The program will be held in the new location for the university’s Center for Audiology, Speech, Language, and Learning at 2315 Campus Drive. The modern, accessible facility has free covered parking for Center visitors. To register or learn more, call 847-491-5012, email SLLClinic@Northwestern.edu or visit www.SLLClinic.Northwestern.edu/CognitiveFitness.
