Northwestern Student Found Dead in Dorm Room
Autopsy for engineering student Jason Arkin is Wednesday.

A Northwestern University engineering student was found dead in his dormitory on Tuesday.
Jason Arkin, 20, of Overland Park, Kan., was discovered Tuesday afternoon in his dorm at 1835 Hinman Ave. on the south side of Evanston, the Chicago Tribune and others have reported. He was pronounced dead at 3:25 p.m. at Evanston Hospital.
Arkin was a third-year student at Northwestern’s McCormick School of Engineering, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.

While the cause of death is pending a Wednesday autopsy, Northwestern spokesperson Bob Rowley has said there is no indication of foul play or danger to the community.
