Noyes Street to Close for Purple Line Work

EVANSTON, IL - Noyes Street will be closed between Ridge and Sherman avenues for a good portion of the weekend as the CTA will work on the tracks near the Noyes Street Purple Line station.

The work is being done on the southbound tracks to remove slow zones and to improve rail service on the Purple Line, according to the city of Evanston.

The improvements will be made on Saturday, June 11 and Sunday, June 12 between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.

Parking will not be allowed under the tracks during this time.
