Evelyn Schechter (nee Lipsey), 92 years young, of Northbrook, formerly of Evanston, peacefully passed away Sunday, March 13th, 2016. Beloved wife of the late Seymour, loving mother of Karyn (Neil) Esterman and Susan (Bill) Driebusch, adored grandmother of Aimee (James) Gray, Darcee (Jamie) Rabinowitz, Stacie (Dave) Selinger, Corrie Driebusch (fiancé Ryan Closson). Devoted great grandmother, fondly known as Bubbah, to Nicole, Ethan, and Jake Gray, and Jayson, Jordyn, and Joey Rabinowitz. World traveler, lifelong learner (Northwestern ILR program), avid reader, and lover of the arts. Memorial Service Tuesday, 3PM at Am Shalom, 840 Vernon Ave, Glencoe, IL 60022.
