Pizza Driver's Car Stolen During Delivery in Evanston: Cops
Police found the car at a nearby gas station and arrested a 17-year-old from DeKalb who was found with the keys.

EVANSTON, IL - A teenager stole a pizza delivery driver's car during a delivery in Evanston Sunday night, according to a police report.
Police say the 27-year-old delivery driver was delivering a pizza in the 1800 block of Washington Street around 6:45 p.m. and left the car - a 2001 Volkswagen - running while making the delivery.
During the delivery, someone entered the vehicle and drove away eastbound on Washington.

The car was spotted about a half-hour later unoccupied at the gas station at Howard Street and McCormick Boulevard. Police arrested the presumed driver - a 17-year-old boy from DeKalb - when he returned to the car and had the keys in his pocket.
The 17-year-old was charged with one count of possession of a stolen motor vehicle. He also had an active warrant out of DeKalb County.
