Victim has been "uncooperative" with police, but did have a bullet fragment removed.

An Evanston woman claiming she was shot Friday afternoon at Custer Avenue and Howard Street has been uncooperative with police since the incident.
Investigators are trying to confirm the woman’s story that she heard two gunshots sometime between 5 and 5:45 p.m. on Friday and ran home, where she discovered she was bleeding from the chest - according to the Evanston Review.
A bullet fragment was removed from the left side of her chest at St. Francis Hospital, according to police, who told the Review she has been “mostly uncooperative” in the investigation.
