Victim Of Possible Stabbing Not Cooperating With Investigation
Evanston police and fire crews were dispatched to the Hilton Orrington Wednesday morning for a report that a woman had been stabbed.

EVANSTON, IL — Police and fire personnel were dispatched to the scene of a possible stabbing in downtown Evanston Wednesday.
Shortly before 9 a.m., officers arrived at the Hilton Orrington, 1710 Orrington Ave., for a report of a robbery and stabbing, police said.
Police found a woman in her 40s with a non-life threatening laceration on her arm, according to Cmdr. Ryan Glew.

Fire department personnel took the woman to Evanston Hospital, Glew said, but after she arrived she stopped cooperating with investigators.
"The investigation does not indicate a continued threat to the public," Glew said.
