Police Respond to Shots Fired Call in Evanston
The shots fired call reportedly came in just before 3 p.m.
EVANSTON, IL - Evanston police responded to a shots fired call in the vicinity of Darrow Avenue and Foster Street Friday afternoon, according to the city’s Twitter account.
The intersection, which was closed off, has since reopened and police are still in the area following up on the call.
The Daily Northwestern reports the shots were fired just before 3 p.m. Evanston Police Department spokesman Perry Polinski told the paper four subjects ran into a house in the area after the shots were reportedly fired.
