Presbyterian Homes Residents Share Significance of Volunteerism

August 30 Roundtable Features Residents that 'Live Lives with Purpose'

Today, Westminster Place, a Presbyterian Homes community, announced it will host an interactive roundtable on the topic of living a life with purpose, featuring some of the community’s residents, that is free of charge for Evanston-area seniors.

The roundtable, an informal and interactive discussion with Westminster Place residents, will focus on their pursuit of a fulfilling and purposeful lifestyle, and how that journey, and its meaning, is as unique as the person on it. A complimentary luncheon, which will provide community newcomers the opportunity to meet residents and gain an inside view into what life can be like at Westminster Place, will precede the discussion.

“Moving to a life plan community, like Westminster Place, can provide tremendous freedom,” said Vice President of Marketing and Public Relations Bob Werdan. “When people unburden themselves of household chores and the responsibilities of home maintenance, they finally have the time and support to pursue their passions and to continue to contribute to their community in a way that is meaningful to them.”
