Presence Saint Francis Hospital Nursing Recognized Nationally

The Evanston hospital is one of a select few to have achieved "Magnet" recognition.

EVANSTON, IL - Presence Saint Francis Hospital has achieved Magnet recognition for excellence in nursing services from the American Nurses Credentialing Center for the second time.

According to a Hospital news release, the distinction is “the gold standard” for nursing practice and the highest credential for nursing nationally.

With the distinction the south Evanston hospital remains in a group of about 400 health care organizations nationally that make up the Magnet community.

Being recognized once again by the ANCC for the quality of our nursing staff reinforces that belief,” said Roberta Luskin-Hawk, MD, Regional Chief Executive Officer for Presence Saint Francis Hospital and Presence Saint Joseph Hospital-Chicago.
