Presence Saint Francis Hospital Nursing Recognized Nationally

EVANSTON, IL - Presence Saint Francis Hospital has achieved Magnet recognition for excellence in nursing services from the American Nurses Credentialing Center for the second time.

According to a Hospital news release, the distinction is “the gold standard” for nursing practice and the highest credential for nursing nationally.

With the distinction the south Evanston hospital remains in a group of about 400 health care organizations nationally that make up the Magnet community.

“We have always believed that we employ the highest-quality and best-trained nurses available. Being recognized once again by the ANCC for the quality of our nursing staff reinforces that belief,” said Roberta Luskin-Hawk, MD, Regional Chief Executive Officer for Presence Saint Francis Hospital and Presence Saint Joseph Hospital-Chicago.
