Press 2 For Spanish Now An Option For Evanston 311 Callers

City has two Spanish speaking call takers as option went live Tuesday.

Evanston 311 has added a new option for Spanish speakers, according to City Manager Wally Bobkiewicz.

Beginning on Tuesday, callers are now automatically routed to a Spanish speaking operator by pressing 2 when they call 311. The city has two Spanish speaking call takers to receive calls.

Five callers choose the option on its first day of availability.
