Public Works Project Manager Honored by American Society of Civil Engineers

Kristin Rehg has been recognized as the 'Young Government Civil Engineer of the Year.'

Kristin Rehg, a project manager for the city of Evanston’s Public Works Agency, was honored Wednesday night by the American Society of Civil Engineers, Illinois Section as its Young Government Civil Engineer of the Year.

According to City Manager Wally Bobkiewicz, Rehg’s work includes water/sewer cost of service analysis, CIP planning design and project management and public outreach and education on water conversation and infrastructure issues.

Rehg earned her Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering from Northwestern University and is a licensed professional engineer. She is also active in several state and national committees of the American Water Works Association.
