Police checked security video and saw the suspected robber enter and leave the room, and detectives began an investigation, Evanston Police Cmdr. Joseph Dugan said.
Two days later, Presbyterian Homes security spotted Hayden trespassing by the rooms, according to Dugan. Staff confronted him and recognized him as the same person seen on the video robbing the Westminster Place resident.
