Come join the 5th annual GreenBuilt Home Tour, which will take place on Saturday, July 22 and Sunday, July 23 between 10-4 p.m.

The 2017 GreenBuilt Home tour features exceptional, award-winning, and nationally-recognized Chicago area homes which highlight attractive, affordable and sustainable building practices. The tour includes Illinois’ finest builders, designers and homeowners who created healthy, energy saving green homes. All homes are third-party verified (or pending) to ensure they are built to national standards and programs such as: ENERGY STAR for Homes, LEED for Homes, DOE Zero Energy Ready Home, GreenStar, and Passive House.

The 14 energy saving homes are spread across the North, Northwest and South side of Chicago, along with two in Downers Grove, two in La Grange, Oak Park, Evanston, Pembroke Township and one in Hampshire. The cost is $5 for two people to see one home and $20 for two people to see as many homes as they wish, with all children admitted free.
