Services Set For Evanston Model Killed in Chicago
More than $14,000 has been raised for family of 20-year-old Kaylyn Pryor, a former ETHS student and athlete.

Services for Kaylyn Pryor, the former Evanston Township High School student and athlete killed in Chicago last week, have been set.
The wake for the recent ETHS graduate and aspiring model will take place from 4-7 p.m. on Friday, November 13 at Calahan Funeral Home, 7030 Halsted Street in Chicago. Visitation will continue at 10 a.m. on Saturday, November 14, with services set to start at 11 a.m. at New Covenant MB Church, 754 E. 77th Street in Chicago.
Pryor was shot and killed in Chicago’s Englewood neighborhood last week while waiting for a bus after visiting her grandmother. A juvenile boy was injured in the incident, but survived.

A reward for information related to Pryor’s death has been announced. Police have said the 20-year-old was “an unintended target.”
According to ETHS Athletic Director Chris Livatino, Pryor was a cheerleader, PomKit and “very successful” member of the school’s Track & Field team before graduating in 2013.

“She was a great student-athlete, but she was an even better teammate, friend and human being,” Livatino said. “We are deeply saddened about her tragic passing as she had so much more to share with the world.”
A GoFundMe account to raise money for the family’s funeral expenses has garnered more than $14,000 in donations.
