Sheridan And Chicago Intersection Closed Overnight

Road work will close Chicago Avenue and Sheridan Road in Evanston on Monday and Tuesday nights.

EVANSTON, IL — Overnight construction work is scheduled to shut down the intersection of Sheridan Road and Chicago Avenue on Monday and Tuesday night to cars, bikes and pedestrians. Closures will be in effect from 7 p.m. to 4 a.m. each night. Pedestrians will be rerouted to cross at Clark Street, Foster Street and Hinman Avenue. Vehicular traffic will be sent to Sherman Avenue between Clark Street and Hinman Avenue.

Nothwestern University shuttle buses will be rerouted by the construction. Riders will be able to board at the intersections of Clark Street and Chicago Avenue and Forster Street and Sheridan Road, according to the University.
