Sheridan Sherwin Parking Garage in Rogers Park Reopens

The Sheridan Sherwin parking facility (7331 N. Sheridan Road) has reopened.

Chicago, IL – The Sheridan Sherwin parking facility (7331 N. Sheridan Road), a contemporary five-story building located at the southeast corner of Sheridan and Sherwin in Rogers Park, has reopened for daily and monthly parking. The garage is a development by TAWANI ENTERPRISES, INC. and was designed to address shortages in the Rogers Park neighborhood by providing affordable, off-street parking accommodations for residents and visitors.

The garage is now open to daily parkers following repairs due to a fire last November, which is currently under investigation by the Chicago Police Department. Two structural engineers were commissioned to inspect the space and repairs to date, and have given management final approval to reopen the facility for daily commuters and visitors. Additional repairs will continue which include the replacement of the special glass that clads the building, which will occur this summer.

“Throughout this process, we have been working diligently to restore the facility to full capacity while focusing on the safety and security of our customers. The Sheridan Sherwin Parking Garage is now ready to serve the community and the Rogers Park neighborhood,” a Tawani spokesperson confirmed.
