Singers sought for community choir

Join the Northwestern University Music Academy Chorus

Join an amateur, but committed community chamber choir with lofty ambitions. Sing classical music while improving your singing voice. Dr. Natasha Lyashenko’s approach ensures a voice lesson within a rehearsal. The ensemble is collaborating with Northwestern University's vocal, conducting, and orchestra programs for an exciting spring season featuring Mozart's “Requiem”. All voices welcome; tenors and basses especially welcome. Can't sing with us this quarter? Check back in the fall.

Time: Tuesdays, 7:00 to 9:30 p.m.
Start Date: Rehearsals begin Tuesday, April 2, but it's not too late to join.
Rehearsal location: Ryan Center for the Musical Arts, 70 Arts Circle Drive, McClintock Choral and Recital Room
Performance: Single evening performance the week of June 10-14, TBD
Parking: Free, in the two-level deck at south end of campus behind the Segal Visitors Center
Conductor: Natasha Lyashenko

Tuition: $100 per quarter
