Smylie Brothers Brewing Company Adds Lunch and Brunch to the Menu

New lunch and brunch menus at Evanston's Smylie Brothers Brewing Company

Looking for a new lunch or brunch spot? Check out Smylie Brothers Brewing Company’s new weekday lunch and weekend brunch.

“Since we opened, people have asked us when we are going to offer lunch and brunch,” explains owner Mike Smylie. “Now that summer is over, the kids are back in school, and football season is underway, the time seemed right to open our doors a little earlier and allow people to enjoy our food and beer all day long.”

Lunch visitors can enjoy some Smylie Brothers favorites like the Company Burger and homemade pizzas. Brunch goers can expect barbecue inspired fare like pulled pork benedict, fried chicken biscuits and gravy, and bacon bloody marys.

Executive Chef Grant Carey adds, “Our brunch menu is more than just eggs and barbecue. We are smoking our own bacon over cherry wood, curing salmon with citrus for a lox platter and making loaves of bread for sandwiches in our wood burning pizza oven. I’m excited to bring some new options to Evanston for brunch.”

Smylie Brothers Brewing Company’s hours are now Tuesday & Wednesday, 11AM - 12AM, Thursday & Friday 11AM - 1AM, Saturday, 10AM - 1AM, and Sunday, 10AM - 11PM. As with dinner, reservations are strongly recommended. Diners can make reservations by calling the brewpub at 224-999-7320 or through Open Table (http://www.opentable.com/chicago-restaurants).
