Survey: ETHS Students Use Pot More than Cigarettes

Survey results show alcohol is used more than marijuana, but heroin is not a problem in district.

A recent survey of students at Evanston Township High School indicates 30 percent have used marijuana during the last month, with 43 percent admitting to alcohol use and 7 percent saying they’ve smoked cigarettes.

Evanston Now reports District 202 board members indicated that while they are not confident all students told the truth about their use of those substances - the numbers are not unique to Evanston, and other communities are reporting heroin use, which does not seem to be a problem at ETHS.
