Tammy McCann Returns To Stained Glass Bistro

TBT = Tammy's Back Tuesday: Tammy McCann was just here November 3 and now she's back for an encore performance this Tuesday, December 15.

Jazz singer Tammy McCann returns to The Stained Glass Bistro in Evanston this Tuesday, December 15, at 6:30 p.m. Over the years Tammy has worked with her famous relative Les McCann, but she has also worked with Ernie Adams, Harrison Bankhead, Kevin Beauchamp, Ari Brown, Ray Charles, Chicago Jazz Orchestra, Five Blind Boys of Alabama, Laurence Hobgood, Henry Johnson, Ramsey Lewis, Mike Logan, Willie Pickens, Milt Trenier, plus legendary brothers George Freeman & Von Freeman. Getting back to Les McCann, he recently turned 80 and he’s a jazz vocalist & pianist who’s best-known for his soul and R&B crossovers. The owner of The Stained Glass & The Cellar is not a jazz singer, but he’s famous opera singer Jason Balla. Stained Glass Bistro plans to do more jazz music nights - and maybe even an opera night. Tammy McCann returns here this Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. For more details visit: www.thestainedglass.com & www.tammymccann.com, or Les is at: www.lesmccann-officialwebsite.com.
