'Taste Of Evanston' To Feature About 40 Local Restaurants
Proceeds from the Fourth Annual Taste of Evanston are going to help two separate charities.

EVANSTON, IL — Get ready for the Fourth Annual Taste of Evanston this Sunday, July 8. About 40 local restaurants will features their dishes for the event, which donates proceeds to charity.
From 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday, at the Dawes House lawn, the Taste of Evanston will take place. The event is sponsored by the Rotary Club of Evanston Lighthouse, Evanston Now reports.
Proceeds will go to Connections for the Homeless and the Reba Place Development Corps.

Here's the event's schedule, according to their website:
- 4 p.m.: Food tasting, entertainment
- 4:30 p.m.: Opening remarks
- 5:15 p.m.: Beneficiaries
- 6:15 p.m.: Silent auction closes, winners announced
- 6:30 p.m.: 50/50 raffle winner announced
- 7 p.m.: Drive home safe!
The Taste of Evanston will be at the Dawes House lawn, at 225 Greenwood St.
