Teen Shot, Killed Near Evanston-Rogers Park Border

CHICAGO, IL - An 18-year-old man was shot to death about one block south of Howard Street Wednesday afternoon.

The man, who has yet to be identified, was pronounced dead while being transported to Presence Saint Francis Hospital around 4:15 p.m., according to the Chicago Sun-Times and other reports.

He was in the 7400 block of North Ridge Ave. when someone walked up to him and shot him in the head. Two people were seen running eastbound on Birchwood Avenue, which is one block south of Howard, following the incident.
