Temporary Traffic Control Plan for Washington Street Wednesday

A temporary traffic control plan will be implemented on Washington St., between Asbury and Ridge Avenues, on Wednesday, June 17, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

A crane will be set up on Washington St. to allow for an upgrade to the Lightning Protection System installed on St. Nicholas Church’s bell tower. Washington St. will be open to local traffic only. Street closure and detour signs will be set up to reroute traffic around the construction zone.

In the event of inclement weather on June 17, the project will be completed on Thursday, June 18.
