Submitted by the City of Evanston

Beginning Monday, June 29, ComEd crews and contractors will work at the manhole located on Maple Ave., south of Foster St. and north of Garrett Pl., as a part of system improvements to provide additional electrical sources for northeast Evanston. Construction work will take place Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and will be completed by Friday, July 17.

During work hours, parking will be prohibited on the east side of Maple Ave. and modified traffic patterns will be established to create a safe work zone. Standard road signs will be displayed and flaggers will be on site to assist motorists and pedestrians. Please note: Normal parking and traffic patterns will be permitted after construction hours when crews are not present.
