Married Couples Renewed Wedding Vows at Westminster Place

Presbyterian Homes announced that several of the community’s residents, at least six couples who have been married for an average of nearly 50 years, renewed their wedding vows in a joint ceremony on Thursday, June 28 at Westminster Place.

The vow renewals were officiated by Janet Aldrich, the senior living community’s resident chaplain, and featured violin and other musical accompaniment, plus a wedding-themed reading. A reception, complete with musical entertainment and refreshments, followed the ceremony. All community residents were invited to join the festivities, though the staff clamored for invitations, too!

“We have so many loving couples here at Westminster Place,” said Nancy Ichinose, director of community programs. “We thought it would be great fun to honor these marriages at the height of wedding season.”
