Top 2017 Chicago Marathon Finishers From Evanston
164 runners from Evanston completed the 2017 Bank of America Chicago Marathon. Here's a look at how the top 10 fared.

CHICAGO, IL — A record number of runners took part in the 40th anniversary of the Bank of America Chicago Marathon on Sunday and 164 of them were from Evanston. More than 43,000 signed up and finished the 26.2-mile race through the streets of Chicago on Sunday. The race went through 29 neighborhoods and was met with fanfare from residents in Pilsen, Chinatown, Boystown and other popular sections of the city.
For the first time since 2002, an American won the marathon. Galen Rupp of Portland, Oregon won the race with a time of 02:09:20. Tirunesh Dibaba, from Ethiopia, won the women's race with a 02:18:31 time.
