Traffic Altercation Leads to Shooting on Howard Street
A Chicago man was shot in the arm while driving in a parking lot.

EVANSTON, IL - A traffic altercation led to a man being shot in south Evanston Tuesday night.
A 45-year-old Chicago man suffered a gunshot wound to the arm around 8:50 p.m. while in his car in a parking lot near Howard Street and Ridge Avenue, according to the Evanston Review.
The suspect is a black man in his 20s with a goatee and dark complection. The victim, who was taken to Presence Saint Francis Hospital by his girlfriend, told police he recognized the man from an earlier traffic altercation. His injuries are not life-threatening.
Police said the gunman approached the driver’s side of the car while it was in the parking lot and knocked on the window. As soon as the victim opened the door, two shots were fired and one hit the man in the arm.
