Turning Point Hosts Free Screening of Inside Out at Skokie Public Library April 2

Family Event includes Parent Discussion and Youth Art and is part of Turning Point's Creating Positive Community Connections series.

SKOKIE, Ill., -- Turning Point and Skokie Public Library present a free family movie screening of the Academy Award-winning animated feature Inside Out (rated PG) on Saturday, April 2 from 1:30 – 4:00 p.m. in the Petty Auditorium of the Skokie Public Library, 5215 Oakton Street. This event is part of Turning Point’s Creating Positive Community Connections series. Admission is free and open to the public. Online reservations are requested. MOVIE PLOT: Riley is uprooted from her Midwestern home as she and her family move to San Francisco. It's a process that makes Riley turn inward as her emotions crash and collide, trying to figure out the best way to deal with a new school, home, and city.

The screening will be followed by a discussion led by Turning Point staff. Children can enjoy making an art project in the nearby Radmacher Room while parents participate in the discussion.
