US Bank Robbed on Howard Street Friday Afternoon

The suspect was seen fleeing on foot toward Chicago with $3,000.

EVANSTON, IL - The US Bank on Howard Street in Evanston was robbed Friday afternoon.

A man described as tall, 6’2 or 6’3 with blonde hair presented a note and walked away with just under $3,000 in cash after 3 p.m., according to the Evanston Review.

The man was seen fleeing the area in the direction of a strip mall on the Chicago side of Howard Street just west of Western Ave., which in Evanston becomes Asbury St.
