Valli Produce, Local Schools Donate to Food Pantry
Seven schools teamed to donate more than 1,000 food items to the Harvest Food Pantry, and Valli honored one of them with a generous gift.

EVANSTON, IL - Seven schools in Evanston and Skokie helped Valli Produce Evanston donate more than 1,500 non-perishable food items to The Harvest Food Pantry in Evanston over a month-long span.
Local schools competed for a $1,000 prize from Valli to see who could garner the most donations. That distinction this year went to the Dr. Bessie Rhodes School of Global Studies in Skokie.
Other schools that participated were Dewey Elementary School, Oakton Elementary School, Lincoln Elementary School, St. Joan of Arc School, Lincoln Jr. High and Thomas Edison Elementary School.
