Evanston Animal Shelter Partners with Merrick Pet Care
Food to shelter to comer at discounted rate.

On Thursday, February 5, the Evanston Animal Shelter announced its new partnership with Merrick Pet Care to feed animals in the shelter while they await their forever home.
“Each pet will enjoy healthy recipes made in Merrick’s kitchens with locally sourced USDA-inspected deboned meat, fresh produce and high-quality protein,” said Merrick Vice President of Communications and Pet Parent Relations Pete Brace.

In addition to providing quality food to the shelter at a discounted rate, which includes free delivery and the opportunity to receive free orders periodically throughout the year, Merrick will provide each forever family with a coupon to receive a free small bag of Merrick food.
Evanston Animal Warden David Rose, Police Commander James Pickett and Evanston Animal Shelter volunteer Alisa Kaplan were present for the adoptable dog, Donna, to enjoy her first taste of Merrick food.
