William "The Fridge" Perry's Super Bowl Ring Being Auctioned Off This Week
The starting bid is $16,000, but the jewelry could fetch much more.

The Super Bowl ring of William “The Refrigerator” Perry - one of the most recognizable members of the 1985 Chicago Bears - is being auctioned this week as part of the annual National Sports Collectors Convention at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.
The starting bid on the ring is $16,000, but is expected to fetch up to $1 million.
According to a description listed by Live Auctioneers: “The face of the ring is awash in genuine diamonds which allow just a hint of the navy blue stone beneath to peek through. Raised text at the perimeter trumpets the achievement: “1985 Chicago Bears World Champions.”
