Wilmette Alt. Garden Tour Sunday

For some good exercise and to learn a lot about our environment and what works to save it, try this event.

       Tomorrow Sunday July 20 GoGreen Wilmette will hold its 2d Annual Alternative Garden Tour, featuring gardens which have solar energy, wildlife habitats, storm water diversions, composting areas, and native plants. One home will display a rooftop garden.

       The tour is from 9 to 11 a.m. and is FREE. Guided bike tours begin at Starbucks in Plaza Del Lago and at the Wilmette Library--both at 9 a.m. (In case of rain it will be cancelled).
