Woman Missing From Evanston Hasn't Been Seen in Months
Husband says Nyameka Bell left home last November and hasn't been seen since. Family hasn't heard from her since February.
EVANSTON, IL - An Evanston woman has not been seen or heard from since February.
Police say 33-year-old Nyameka Amanda Bell was reported missing by her husband last month, about 10 months since she left their residence in Evanston.
Friends of Bell and her family in South Africa have not been in contact with her since February, and police have not been able to confirm being anywhere since then.

She is described as a black woman, 5'0" and 150 lbs.
"Detectives checked with Bell's last known employer and discovered that she never picked up her last paycheck," according to a police statement. "Detectives have checked with all known acquaintances and relatives, credit card, banking and cellular phone records, as well as vehicle and travel information and are unable to generate any leads on the whereabouts of Bell."

The missing woman is also known by the names Nyameka Malindi and Amanda Malindi.
Bell's car is also unaccounted for, according to police. It's a grey 2003 Volkswagen Jetta with expired Illinois registration and a license plate number of V609349.
