'Bruh, You're from Evanston!' Fox Panel Debates Chicago Bona Fides
Chicago versus suburb debate inflamed by Fox News contributors, as Republican Caldwell calls out Evanstonian Democrat Fowler.

EVANSTON, IL - In a Fox & Friends debate over solutions to Chicago's gun violence epidemic and President Donald Trump's (apparently Fox News Channel-inspired) tweet on the subject, Republican consultant Gianno Caldwell arguably de-legitimatized the point being made by fellow consultant and Democratic Fox News contributor Richard Fowler.

The exchange has renewed the age-old debate over who can plausibly claim to be "from Chicago," which surfaced earlier this month when the Chicago Tribune published a letter from an Indiana man who pledged to leave and never return to Chicago, bidding farewell to a city in which he did not live.
