YWCA Awarded 4-Star Rating For 4th Straight Year
YWCA Evanston/North Shore again earned the coveted four-star rating from Charity Navigator.

From YWCA Evanston: YWCA Evanston/North Shore’s strong financial health and commitment to accountability and transparency have earned it a four-star rating from Charity Navigator, America’s largest independent charity evaluator.
This is the fourth consecutive time that YWCA Evanston/North Shore has earned a four-star rating, which is the evaluating organization’s highest distinction.
“It’s important for our donors to trust that we’re using their financial contributions wisely to accomplish our mission of eliminating racism and empowering women,” said Karen Singer, CEO and president of YWCA Evanston/North Shore. “Our four-star rating demonstrates our good governance and financial accountability. It’s the very foundation of who we are and what we do.”

YWCA Evanston/North Shore’s rating and other information about charitable giving are available free of charge on www.charitynavigator.org. More detailed information is available to the site’s visitors who become registered users.
“YWCA Evanston/North Shore’s exceptional four-star rating sets it apart from its peers and demonstrates its trustworthiness to the public,” said Michael Thatcher, CEO and president of Charity Navigator. “Only a quarter of charities rated by Charity Navigator receive the distinction of our four-star rating.”
