Zoba Noodle Bar Closes in Downtown Evanston

The Thai favorite on Sherman Avenue was popular in the Northwestern community.

EVANSTON, IL - A downtown Evanston Thai restaurant closed permanently last week, the Daily Northwestern reports.

Zoba Noodle Bar, located at 1565 Sherman Ave., was open for the last time on Friday. The restaurant was known for Thai cuisine and noodle bowls, according to the Daily.

The 1,900 square-foot space between Pete Miller’s Seafood & Prime Steak and Ergo Salon & Spa is now vacant.

A spokesperson for Downtown Evanston said several businesses have shown interest.
