18 EPCHS Seniors Designated Illinois State Scholars

Eighteen students at Evergreen Park Community High School from the graduating class of 2024 have been designated Illinois State Scholars.

EVERGREEN PARK, IL — Eighteen students at Evergreen Park Community High School from the graduating class of 2024 have been designated Illinois State Scholars.

The Illinois Student Assistance Commission, the state’s college access and financial aid agency, presents this prestigious recognition of academic achievement to exceptional Illinois high school students annually.

“We could not be more proud of the accomplishments of our Illinois State Scholar students,” EPCHS Principal Matt Dugan said. “They put an extraordinary amount of work into their past four years of high school and they truly deserve this recognition.”

The following EPCHS students were named 2024-2025 Illinois State Scholars: Aidan Bench, Thomas Jarosz-Gobby, Michael Joyce, Colin Kelly, Matthew Dever, Amelia Woody, Rachel Thomas, Taylor Yeaman, Shyair Rowser, Skyeleigh Godowic, Theresa Brady, Kai Odom, Nathan Brannigan, Dulce Medina-Meza, Ulises Cardenas, Maya Rayson, Owen Doogan and Andrew Perez.
