2023 Football Schedule Released For Evergreen Park Mustangs

EVERGREEN PARK, IL — With a little less than four weeks until the first high school football practices begin in Illinois on Aug. 7, the countdown to the fall season is officially underway. A nine-game regular season runs through the end of October, before the postseason culminates with state championship games scheduled for the weekend of Nov. 24-25 at Illinois State University.

The Illinois High School Association, in partnership with Max Preps, recently announced schedules for the varsity teams. In Evergreen Park, fans will especially be keeping tabs on the local teams at Evergreen Park Community High School, as well as the area Catholic high schools.

This fall, the Mustangs will be joined in the South Suburban Red Conference by Richards (Oak Lawn), Oak Lawn Community, Shepard (Palos Heights), Reavis (Burbank) and Argo (Summit).

Locally, Evergreen Park Community High School's regular season begins at home Aug. 25, when the Mustangs face off against Marengo High School. Kickoff is at 7 p.m.
