3 Charged After Injured Man Is Discovered In Evergreen Park Home
Evergreen Park police and major crimes task force arrest three people after a man was found severely injured inside a home.
EVERGREEN PARK, IL — A gravely injured man was discovered inside an Evergreen Park residence on Saturday morning, the result of an apparent battery. The man is currently hospitalized. Three people have been taken into custody.
Jonathan Owens, 30, and Jessica Doherty, 26, both of Chicago, and Stacy L. Krisik, 33, of Evergreen Park have each been charged with aggravated battery with great bodily harm.
Around 8:41 a.m. on March 23, Evergreen Park police went to a residence in the 8700 block of South Francisco Avenue to conduct a well-being check. The person who made the request believed someone was injured and inside the residence.

Officers found the severely injured man inside the home and transported him to Advocate Christ Medical Center, where he remains hospitalized. Due to the severity of the man’s injuries, the Evergreen Park Police Department requested the assistance of the South Suburban Major Crimes Task Force in the investigation.
Police would not comment on how the man came to be injured or battered. The three suspects are set to appear at the Bridgeview Courthouse for a bond hearing on Monday afternoon.
