• Plainfield Native and Iraq War Veteran Justin Wojtkowski Remembered by Morris Community (theunionstar.com) — Evergreen Park residents may pause to remember Justin Tyler Wojtkowski, who was born in the village before growing up in Crestwood and Plainfield and later settling in Morris. The 40-year-old Iraq War veteran, father, and ExxonMobil field mechanic died May 23 after an accident in LaSalle. A memorial gathering is planned June 6 in Joliet, with memorials suggested to Disabled American Veterans.
