Evergreen Park American Legion Post 854 Plans Solemn 9/11 Ceremony Friday At Dusk

EVERGREEN PARK, IL—The veterans of American Legion Post 854 will host a solemn 9/11 ceremony at dusk, marking 25 years since terrorist attacks on Sept. 11, 2001.

All are invited to start gathering at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 11, at the post, 9701 S. Kedzie Ave., Evergreen Park. The solemn ceremony remembering the first responders and citizens who lost their lives on that terrible day will begin around 7 p.m.
